Vézeronce-Curtin covers an area of 1,439 hectares and boasts a population of 2,098. It stands at the intersection of the roads between Bourgoin and Les Avenières and between La Tour du Pin and Morestel, making it a point of passage that prides itself on a lovely village centre and its local shops.
Around thirty associations contribute to a lively community life.

Vézeronce-Curtin is twinned with the Malian village of Logo.
The area is steeped in history, with the battle of Vézeronce way back in 524 when Clodomir, son of Clovis, fought against the Burgunds.
NB: Disabled access to the "Diamantelle" function room. Disabled access to the Relais 171 hall is also possible with the help of an accompanying person.
Distinguishing features:
- Clodomir's helmet, the village emblem; this Merovingian ceremonial helmet was granted to Clodomir, son of Clovis
- Fête de la Milin: this festival celebrating the Black Virgin takes place on the the 1st Sunday of September when a mass is held at Curtin Church in honour of the Black Virgin.
- Vézerontinois: a local chocolate speciality created by Pâtisserie Vandroux
- Car-boot sale: every Sunday on the Casino supermarket car park
